Hello!! I am excited about getting to know you this year!
I was born and raised in Jerome. After graduating from Lewis-Clark State College I moved back to Jerome and started teaching. I taught fourth grade at Summit Elementary School for three years. During that time I completed my master’s degree in Educational Leadership through the University of Idaho, but I am still a Boise State fan! Go Broncos! Because I decided that I would really like to teach older students, I transferred to Jerome Middle School where I taught sixth grade ELA for three years! I jumped over to Special Education this year and am looking forward to the new adventure!
My husband, Brye, and I met after high school and married a few years later. We live in rural Jerome with our two dogs, Laksy and Chyler, one cat, Jeff, our son, Krue, who turned TWO in August, and we are expecting a baby girl who will join our family in late September! In our free time, we enjoy golfing, mountain biking, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy gardening and growing flowers. However, I DO NOT like water! I have to be able to stand in the water in order to feel comfortable!
I am excited to get to know you this year and look forward to the many adventures of middle school!
