Each student will have a Chromebook checked out to them as the district is moving 1:1 with technology. In order for students to attend or participate in athletics/ activities/dances/events, they must have:-90% Percent attendance-No discipline referrals-No F's in classesThis includes choir/band/orchestra events, school plays/musicals, field trips and STEM events. No discipline referrals means you will not be allowed to participate in a field trip, athletic events, performances while you are assigned ISS/OSS/JETS. You are also not allowed to attend home games. For discipline extended beyond 3 days, your participation at homecoming and prom are contingent upon these expectations. Grades are reviewed weekly.Grades/Report Cards

Special education staff will be supporting Jennings School District plans for virtual and blended in-person/virtual learning plans. The case manager/special education teacher will contact you to provide information about how you can support your child in doing the virtual assignments and to support your child using learning strategies or approaches they already use in school. Students are allowed to participate in athletics whether they are Blended In-person/Virtual or 100% Virtual. All student athletes that are participating MUST have their waivers signed and in our possession before any athletic participation can begin. Day to day disciplinary infractions will be handled by the building administration. We have zero tolerance for fighting, weapons, and drugs. Students will be assigned disciplinary action based on the nature of the infraction in accordance with the JSD code of conduct.The SPOT Clinic
For the students who are wanting/needing a physical,, they must call 314-454-2468 to set an appointment. They can also help you keep up to date with your student’s immunizations for this upcoming school year.
