CHEER
Head Coach
Jasmine Kirksey is the Head Cheer Coach at Jennings Senior High School since 2013. She's is also a teacher at Northview Elementary in the Jennings School District. With over a decade of coaching experience, she has dedicated her career to building confident, competitive athletes and creating long-term opportunities through cheerleading.
After recognizing many of my students’ aspirations to cheer at HBCUs, she embraced the Stomp and Shake style and integrated it into our traditional cheer program—preparing our athletes for success at the collegiate level and beyond. Ms. Kirksey leads the district-wide cheer program that starts as early as kindergarten and it gives students at every grade level the chance to grow, perform, and thrive.
