CREDIT RECOVERY
CREDIT RECOVERY
Credit recovery is a term that is used to signify credits that were lost by not passing a course and must, therefore, be recovered by taking the course work again.
Please see your counselor about each of these options and what course(s) students can take to recover credit that has been lost.

Thornton High School has seven classrooms limited to a maximum of twenty students, which means that the teacher-to-student ratio is small and personalized. Curriculum is standards based and individualized based on credits earned and assessed skill levels. Students are referred to Thornton High School for a variety of reasons, the most common reason is credit recovery or in some cases, accelerated graduation.
Students and families may tour Thornton with a staff member should they be interested in getting to know the campus, staff, students and culture of the school. We encourage students and families to tour to get to know the school as the students and staff know it: a personalized learning community promoting opportunities for academic success.
