Students were able to design their own resort, and create a budget to build it. This project really helped students harness their multiplication and addition skills. They started the project by determining how many rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens they would need to furnish. Then they calculated smaller items such as towels, sheets, televisions, and sitting chairs for each room. Another fun aspect of the project was that students got to design a resort flyer on Canva for their potential customers.
