Students got to design their own Thanksgiving Day parade float in this fun project! First, they had to create a blue print of their float using graph paper. Next, they had to calculate their budget and decide what materials to use for their design. In order to calculate their material costs they had to find the area for each of the items on their parade float, including the base. Students then created their own timeline for the day of the parade, and made a snack stand.
