3rd Grade

The 3rd graders made their own haunted restaurants with their spooky project based learning this quarter! They used scary and silly adjectives to write their menus. Then they had to create realistic prices using a range for each menu item. Once their menus were finalized they designed their restaurant and prepped their menu items for opening day. Students took turns running their restaurants and shopping at their friends restaurants, having to add up the total on their receipts. 

Students will receive a budget and then plan their own holiday meal. They only get $50 to spend, and have required items from each category. After they plan their meal they will then write about their favorite holiday food, and also graph data from their classmates favorite foods. Students even got to use Canva to design their own holiday table with the items they purchased for their menu!
