About me

¡Hola! My name is Alfonso de Torres Núñez and I am the Spanish teacher at Bloom Elementary School.

I am from Madrid, Spain, and this is my 13th year working as an educator (between Spain and the US).

Thank you

I feel blessed for being here and having the wonderful opportunity to teach and share my language and culture with your students. I will work hard to prepare them for the challenges they will face in the modern day society where they will encounter different people from all over the world, and I will do my best to prepare them to be the future leaders of this great nation.

"This is the way."

Every student will have the opportunity to learn Spanish in a fun and interactive way.

My goal is for the students to be able to speak Spanish and use it in real life conversation. This valuable skill will continue to benefit them for years to come, helping them to become a globally and culturally competent individual, and providing them with an edge when applying for college or for a job.

I will strive to create a safe and positive environment where the students can experience and learn the language in a fun way and be encouraged to try and do their best.
