My name is Mrs. Debbie Gilmore and I have worked at Bloom Elementary for over 20 years! I began as the Computer Instructor, then moved into a K/1st classroom and, once receiving my Masters in Library Science, became the Librarian.
I live on a boat! Really! My husband, Greg, and I have lived aboard for the past 6 years. It's a different kind of life but we love it! Our retirement plans involve shoving off and traveling on our boat.
We have three children: Sydney, Adam and Garth - all healthy and happy.
I love my job! My biggest thrill is finding that perfect book - that book that inspires and excites kids to want to read! That is my calling.
