Hi! My name is Alyson Lamb, and I am the 6th grade counselor at Lassiter Middle School. I grew up just north of Indianapolis in Carmel, Indiana. After high school, I went to UK and got my Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (GO CATS!). From there, I moved to Louisville and have been working in JCPS since 2012. I have been married to my husband Dustin for 8 years, and together we have 2 children. My daughter Nora is 5, and starts Kindergarten this fall!. My son Calvin is 3 and keeps us busy laughing. I have been in education for 14 years. I have my Master’s Degree in School Counseling and my Rank 1 as an Educational Specialist, both from the University of the Cumberlands.
Before coming to Lassiter, I was a 6th grade counselor at Olmsted Academy North. Before becoming a counselor, I was an ECE teacher throughout the district for 10 years. This is my 4th year as a school counselor in JCPS. I love working with 6th grade students, and supporting them as they make the jump from elementary to middle school! As a counselor, I aim to teach the whole child, ensuring they are not only successful with academics, but reach their full potential socially and emotionally as well. I am passionate about helping students believe in themselves and pushing themselves to do things that challenge them and scare them. I take pride in having an open door policy and ensuring all students feel safe and comfortable with me!
In my free time, I love spending time with my family! I love to read, do crossword puzzles, and spend time on the lake at Lake Cumberland.
Please feel free to contact me Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Hi! My name is Angie Johnson, 7th grade counselor at Lassiter Middle School. I have lived in Louisville my entire life and am a proud alumni of Butler Traditional High School. I have been married to my husband Jeremy for 18 years who also works for JCPS. I have one very energetic son, Grayson, who will be starting in eight grade this year. I have been in education for 21 years after spending several years in the corporate world.
Before coming to Lassiter, I taught Mathematics in all three grades and was an Academic Instructional Coach. I attended both the University of Louisville and Bellarmine University and you can often find me cheering on both teams as I love watching sports!
When I am not at school, I spend most of my time watching Grayson play whatever sports are in season (he plays them all), making crafts, reading or planning my next beach or Disney trip.
My role as a school counselor is to provide academic, college and career, as well as social and emotional counseling services for the 7th grade. I love working with middle school students in a time where they are starting to discover who they are in the world.

Hi! I am Danielle Williams.
I am a Louisville native born and raised. My husband and I have been married for 22 years and have 2 children named Dylan and Dean. Dylan will be a freshman in college this fall and Deano will be strating his sophmore year at Bullitt East. I have worked in JCPS for 20 years. Prior to joining the Lassiter family last year, I taught 8th grade social studies. I have degrees from both the University of Louisville and Indiana University Southeast. (GO CARDS!) Outside of work, I love watching the Cards play, spending time outdoors, watching Deano play baseball and hanging with my boys.
I believe that school counselors are an important part of the student team. Teachers, administrators, parents and students must work together to help all of our students succeed. As a school counselor, I am an advocate for student achievement. Our role is to help all students to thrive academically, socially and personally. Our goal is to help all students leave our building ready for high school, college and their future careers.
I am a counselor for the 8th grade. I enjoy watching our students enter the building as 6th graders and grow and flourish into the leaders they become by their 8th grade year. I love helping our 8th graders prepare for their next transition into high school even though it is hard each year to let them go.

I have lived in Louisville long enough to call it home and am a proud alumni of Eastern High School. I have been married to my husband Richard for 19 years and have 2 children, Corinne(Senior in HS) and Ryland(Freshmen in HS). I attended The University of Louisville for my bachelor's in mathematics and my masters in secondary mathematics education. I then went to Indiana University Southeast for my masters in counseling.
Before coming to Lassiter, I taught Mathematics at PRP High School for 10 years and then moved to Farnsley Middle where I was the math resource teacher and then moved into the counseling role. In being a middle school counselor, I love to see the growth that each student makes over the course of 3 short years. I can't wait to work with your student in their middle school journey and support their academic, social/emotional, and career exploration along the way!
In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. Together we like to camp, binge watch a series, and play board games.
