Why Afrocentric Diversity & Techquity?

Our IT3 team is committed to: 

• Upholding the JCPS Racial Equity Pillar all school year long,

• Educating teachers on how to help address the Digital Divide by ensuring techquity is embedded in their classroom culture,

• Helping teachers leverage digital tools that increase student engagement, 

• Exposing our students to various digital tools and resources they can use to create and demonstrate what they have learned in innovative ways, and 

• Allowing many opportunities for students to create artifacts from their learning that can also be placed in their JCPS Backpack.
