Ash Wednesday (Western Christianity): February 14, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent for some Christian denominations. During Lent, some Christian employees and students might follow dietary restrictions or might be unavailable for evening activities.


Ayyam-i-Ha (Baha'i): February 26-29, Baha'i was founded in the 19th century as a development of Babism, emphasizing the essential oneness of humankind and of all religions and seeking world peace. 


Maha Shivratri (Hinduism): March 8 Maha Shivaratri is a Hindu festival celebrated annually in honor of the deity Shiva 


Ramadan (Islam): March 10-April 9 Every year, Muslims engage in a 30-day, sunup-to-sundown fast called Ramadan. 


Great Lent (Eastern Orthodox Christianity): March 18-May 4 Great Lent, or the Great Fast, is intended to prepare Christians for the greatest feast of the church year, Pascha. 


Naw-Ruz/Nowruz (Baha'i and Persian New Year): March 20 Naw-Ruz is the Bahai New Year's Day and coincides with the spring equinox. Called Nowruz, it is also celebrated as the Persian New Year in the Iranian community and many other Asian communities. 


Purim (Judaism): March 23-24 Commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from annihilation at the hands of Haman, as it is recounted in the Book of Esther. 


Holy Week (Western Christianity): March 24-30 Observed the week between Palm Sunday and Easter, which is a devotion to the Passion of Jesus Christ.  


Holi Day (Hinduism): March 25 Celebrated at the end of winter, on the last full moon day of the Hindu lunisolar calendar month, marking the spring 


Good Friday (Western Christianity): March 29 Commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus and His death at Calvary.  


Easter (Western Christianity): March 31 Also called Pascha or Resurrection Sunday, it is a Christian festival and cultural holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.
