Check out our hard work!

"IT'S NOT THAT I'M SO SMART, IT'S JUST THAT I STAY WITH PROBLEMS LONGER."

-ALBERT EINSTEIN

Students were asked to create a book about having a positive growth mindset. After reading lots of books, we shared our ideas about encouraging thoughts versus thoughts that often keep us from trying when things get hard. They were asked to color the positive thought with green and the "not-so-positive" thought with red.

How often do kids feel they are just "bad" at something?

How often do we hear kids say, "I don't care!"

How often to kids feel like they should just give up?

How often do kids feel like they'll never be "that smart"?

We have lots of places to share our hard work in our classroom.

WE AIM FOR THE STARS!

Confidently sharing our writing pieces during our Author's Share Day. We invited families & friends!

Encouraging one another and sharing our thinking helps us believe in ourselves!

Family is how we feel about one another. We know we have each other's backs! Always!

Sharing our feelings & wishes. We created "Wish Links" and made a chain that wrapped around our room!

Nothing is Impossible, the word itself says, 'I'm Possible!' -Audrey Hepburn

The evidence is clear, my students know what it means to have a positive attitude!
