Use this driving question as a guide for the ELABORATE phase and a starting point.
Design Thinking Workbook - Each of you have your own copy attached to Lesson 1 in Google Classroom. You will need to complete this in full and turn it in for credit. You will record and document your OWN work throughout the process in this workbook as you work through the ELABORATE phase.
Read the instructions carefully.
Find a partner to work through some of the collaborative activities together such as interviewing, testing, and more.

During this stage, you will interview classmate(s) or a student(s) within your target audience.
Create interview questions and record responses in the appropriate columns in the workbook.
Observe a classmate or student and take notes on their experience.

In this stage, you will analyze the data gathered during the Empathize stage and identify the key problems or challenges faced by students in their school community. Also, identify their motivations.
Use the information from your user research and observations to define the problem statement for your case study.
Consider the needs, wants, motivations, and experiences of students when defining the problem.

During this stage, you will brainstorm and generate as many ideas as possible to solve the defined problem.
Use the Design Thinking Workbook to record your ideas and explore different possibilities.
Be creative and think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions.
All possibilities are valid and should be documented during this stage. You will edit and narrow it down later.

In this stage, you will create a prototype or a mock-up of your solution to the defined problem.
Use the provided tools and resources to bring your ideas to life.
Focus on creating a visual representation or model that represents your solution.

During the testing stage, you will gather feedback on your prototype from classmates or teachers.
Present your prototype and explain your solution to others, seeking their input and suggestions.
Use the feedback received to refine and improve your design.
