Butler has several options for students who wish to earn college credit hours while still in high school, through Advanced Placement (AP) courses and dual credit programs, which are offered through both the University of Louisville, Campbellsville University, Morehead State University, and Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC).

Butler students complete the Pre-College Curriculum, which is an approved course of study required for admission to colleges and universities.
