Ryan Plakorus is the Vocal Music Director at Wheat Ridge High School where he is currently the director of 4 choirs, and producer of the fall play and spring musical. 

Mr. Plakorus graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO where he studied Music Education with a Vocal/Piano/General Emphasis. There Mr. Plakorus was the inaugural recipient of the Greeley Chorale Conducting Scholarship and participated in many choirs and productions while at UNC. In addition, he also traveled to Germany where he performed roles and in the chorus with Opera Classica Europa. Ryan Plakorus adores the Wheat Ridge community and is incredibly honored to continue working in a place where there is such passion from the students, teachers, parents and community. He loves connecting with others and learning and growing with the students through music. Mr. Plakorus loves to watch TV, read, be with friends and famkly, and take trips to the mountains. He also loves choir, and loves to sing as he is a professional singer at Holy Ghost Catholic Church.
