What questions can I ask my student about their book?

• Who is the main character?  Describe them?  How have they changed?

• What is the setting?  Describe it.

• Was there a problem?  How did they solve it?

• What was it mostly about?

• What do you think will happen next?

• Did you learn anything new?

Math Homework

10 - 20 minutes every night

In order for students to be successful in 4th grade math and beyond, it is important for them to have fact fluency.  Students need to be able to use multiplication and division facts to access higher level math thinking.

• Practice with flashcards.

• Play flashcard games.

• Complete mosaic worksheets.
