With many of our students studying the Holocaust, Creighton was privileged to have Rudi Florian and Joan Wallis from the Mizel Museum in Denver come and speak to us about how the Holocaust impacted their lives: one as a survivor and one as a child of Holocaust survivors. Both speakers gave students a glimpse into the horrors and realities of the Holocaust, in addition to the resiliency of peoples, in first person perspective. At the end, students were able to ask questions that gave them insight that they would not have without Rudi and Joan.
