YOU'RE INVITED: JOIN THE PTA!
A fun, easy way to support our students and get to know our school community
Dear Families,
Consider this your official (and very enthusiastic) invitation: we would love for you to join the PTA! Whether you have five minutes or five hours, a knack for spreadsheets or a talent for face-painting, there is a place for you here. We promise it's fun, it's flexible, and it makes a real difference for our kids.
Who we are
The PTA exists for one simple reason: to support our students and build an engaged, connected school community. Every event we host, every dollar we raise, and every hour we volunteer goes right back to the kids in our classrooms and hallways.
What we've done recently
Upgraded the school's security cameras for a safer campus
Outfitted every classroom with Mimeo interactive boards
This year's mission
We're working to reduce or remove admission fees at our favorite school events, so every single student can join in the fun — no exceptions.

How you can help
However you want to pitch in, we're here to meet you there — from stuffing folders to soliciting corporate sponsorships (yes, that counts as volunteering, and it's a big help!). We welcome monetary donations too; every bit goes directly back into our school and students.

Membership starts at just $15/year

Become a Coronado PTA member. Members will receive timely PTA communication in addition to having voting rights to help gain greater insight in making meaningful improvements for our school, teachers, staff and most of all our students. Joining is easy and inexpensive, simply complete the membership form and return to the office with payment.
Volunteer to lend a hand at PTA events, teacher appreciation activities, fundraising or special committee's.
Show your school spirit by ordering Coronado Spirit Wear. You can order through out the school year and orders will be shipped directly to your home.
Fundraising allows the PTA to put on fun activities for the school/community, assist in providing technology for enhancing education, leading the way for the much needed playground improvements and requests from teachers not covered by the school district. From the READ-A-THON in the fall to participating in giving back programs with many of your favorite places to shop such as Kings Soopers and American Furniture Warehouse there are lots of options for you to help make a difference at Coronado.
