Also, remote students that did not pick up their yearbook this past Thursday will be able to pick it up at this time.

Seniors -- chances are there is something in your Jeffco Google Drive that you’ll want to refer back to down the road, so use Google Takeout to easily move all your Google files to a personal account before you lose access to your Jeffco account on June 15th. Simply sharing the files with your personal account won’t work, and you will lose those files when your Jeffco Google Account becomes inactive (around June 15th). Google Takeout can transfer all your files in a few simple steps.

Members of the Senior Class showed up in force last night at The Main Event in Highlands Ranch to celebrate this year's hybrid Prom/After-Prom Event. Students were able to bowl, play casino games, swing on the indoor ropes course, dance, and most importantly, spend one more evening together with their friends. There was even an epic staff vs student battle royal in the Laser Tag Arena. Hawkeye (Mrs. Atter) powered the staff to victory as the high scorer! Students and staff alike enjoyed being able to hang out with each other while feeling somewhat normal again. Thank you to the members of our Student Government for their hard work organizing such a fun evening! Thank you as well to our PTSA for putting together the casino and all the great giveaways!
Congratulations to the Graduating members of Ralston Valley's Social Studies Honor Society, Rho Kappa. They were honored earlier this week with chords for graduation and a plaque. Their passion for History and philanthropic spirit have made them great examples of what it means to be a Ralston Valley student.
IT’S GRADUATION DAY! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2021! SENIORS, THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMITMENT TO RALSTON VALLEY AND UPHOLDING THE RICH TRADITION OF MUSTANG ATHLETICS!
Season D sports are well underway, and we have two teams who are undefeated in league play at this point. A shout-out to boys’ lacrosse and girls’ tennis teams who currently sit atop the Jeffco League!
Remember, an athlete who tests positive or is a presumptive positive for COVID-19 must complete a Return to Sport protocol with athletic trainer, Lindsay Anderson, after quarantine before they can return to practice and competition. This will carry over into next year, so make sure all athletes who have had a positive COVID-19 test see Lindsay as soon as possible.
For the second year in a row, we will not host our annual Athletic Awards Program in-person. Instead, just as we did last spring, we will be posting our 2020-21 Athletic Awards Program on our website to recognize the accomplishments of many of our athletes this year. With Season D not ending until June 26, this will be a fluid, online program that will be updated as athletic honors are determined throughout the summer. We will be distributing awards to students who are in-person learners over the last few weeks of school as those awards arrive at RVHS. Again, Season D awards will not even be finalized until late June, so those plaques and certificates will be distributed at the start of the next school year.
Attention Seniors!! The Lisa Nelson Memorial Scholarship is available to any senior who has been involved in athletics for all four years of high school. Please apply for this scholarship, as this is a wonderful opportunity to receive much needed college funding and support the memory of our longtime PE teacher and volleyball coach, Mrs. Lisa Nelson. Applications are still being accepted through Naviance or reach out to your counselor.
Congratulations to the class of 2021! You did it! We are proud and happy for you as you begin a new journey in your life. Way to go Mustangs!
All current 9th -11th graders planning to return to RVHS in the fall may keep their devices over the summer for use next school year.
