Volunteering:

I always greatly appreciate volunteers throughout the year! Though, please keep in mind that the older students get, the more independent they are, thus less need for volunteers in the classroom regularly. Below are the volunteer opportunities available this year:

• Acquiring materials for special projects or science investigations

5th Grade Field Trips:

We have some amazing field trips setup for 5th grade! (COVID could change these plans, so please be aware!) I will send out information in advance regarding volunteering. Below is a rundown of our planned field trips:

Nature and Science Museum (focus on science Space Unit)

Revolutionary War Reenactment (American History Unit

Young Ameritowne (Citizenship/Social Studies content)

As a grade level, we are always looking for new opportunities to give the students, so there is room for additions to this field trip list.
