Quality of reeds for woodwinds differs quite a bit. Vandoren is the best brand for clarinet and saxes. Rico Royal are decent as well. For Clarinet, Mitchell Laurie reeds are also very good. Please DO NOT buy reeds that come in a clear case with orange labeling (there are several different names for these reeds). These reeds are not good quality and have created difficulties for my woodwind students.
