Career and technical education (CTE) at West Jefferson Middle School provides students opportunities to explore career pathways, develop essential technical and professional skills, and build a strong foundation for college and career readiness.
CTE students are:
engaging in their world through their curiosity;
applying durable skills (communication, collaboration, character, mindfulness, metacognition, leadership, growth mindset, fortitude, critical thinking, and creativity);
challenged through engaging activities;
analyzing, evaluating, creating; and
empowered in the relevance of their academic and personal success.
Before-school help is available FRIDAYS from 7:40 to 8:35, by appointment ONLY, or a different day upon agreement. Students may bring a snack and a drink. Transportation must be arranged by the student's family.
BASIC NEEDS: We are here for you. Ensuring student safety and well-being is our highest priorities as a teachers. We encourage you to email us or arrange a meeting to talk if you need ANYTHING.
