Students will be meeting in Room 109 at the beginning of every class for the entire semester. We will also finish every class in Room 109. This classroom is our THINK TANK. We will be thinking, learning, taking notes, getting directions for activities, logging daily mileage/minutes, taking quizzes, etc in this room. Gym Attire and Classroom Supplies
*Students will not be utilizing Carmody locker rooms to change in/out of P.E. clothes for Lifetime Fitness class this semester. Students should always show up to class in comfortable clothing to be able to move throughout the class doing a variety of activities. Athletic shorts or sweatpants are highly encouraged (leggings, yoga pants, tights, shorts, sweatpants, are all ok).
*Running/athletic/court shoes of some type are REQUIRED. Boots, sandals, Crocs and slippers present a hazard to the student and to others in the class. Students will still be required to participate in some form of exercise (ex: walking/biking), if appropriate footwear is not worn.
*Weather in Colorado allows us to take advantage of outdoor sports/activities. Students will be going outside almost daily throughout the semester. Students are encouraged to bring a sweatshirt, long sleeve t-shirt or jacket/coat on a daily basis as the weather begins to change.
*Students are also encouraged to wear sunscreen and bring full water bottles daily. There is a fountain located in the gym for student use. It is highly encouraged to bring a water bottle as there is no access to water outside. If you do not bring a water bottle to class, you will feel dehydrated. STAY HYDRATED!
*Students are expected to bring their CHARGED Chromebook to each class. They will be used frequently.
*Students are expected to use P.E. equipment in a RESPECTFUL manner and act appropriately while in the gym for student safety. Normal wear and tear will occur, however, misuse that results in damage of any equipment will be the financial responsibility of the student. RESPECT!
