Gymnastics experience: I grew up in Colorado and graduated from Arvada West High School.  I spent my club years at Denver School of Gymnastics ending as a level 10 and competed high school for 4 years at Arvada West.   I continued my gymnastics career  as a 4 year college gymnast at Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, MN where I was a three time National Qualifier and All-Conference gymnast.

Coaching experience: I began coaching after college when I became the head coach at East Ridge High School in Woodbury, MN.   After moving to Colorado I was an assistant coach at Arvada West High School for two years and Lakewood High School for two years.  I began as head coach of Lakewood High Schools program in the Fall of 2019. 

Current job/career: I am a science teacher at Lakewood High School! 

Philosophy: I strongly believe in the value of team sports to teach our youth how to thrive after they graduate.  I choose to coach high school gymnastics because of all of the intangibles that are learned by being on a team.  By being on a team our gymnasts will not just learn to be the best gymnast they can be, they will also learn how to be a good teammate, how to support each other,  how to work hard, how to lead their peers, and how to overcome setbacks.  Ideally, they will become the best gymnasts, teammates, and team they can be.
