Community Outreach is an important part of any FRC team. As it says in its name "FIRST - For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology", inspiring the next generation to enjoy and learn about STEM subject. While this can be fun, it is also work that is well worth the effort, and the earlier students embrace this love for learning, making, and problem solving, the more successful they will be in their future careers.

The DRHS Robotics Team has consistantly engaged students at our local middle and elementary school to get them excited about doing robotics when they get to high school.

1799 Demonstrates FRC robotics for JrFLL Expo

Each JrFLL team member got a chance to drive last year's robot, remote control a mechanum Lego/Vex robot and operate the pneumatic claw on this year's robot.
