Hello! My name is Erica Eaton. I am so excited to be back with my Foothills family this year!

I will be out during the first half of the school year welcoming and spending quality time with my husband and I's first baby girl! Her due date is August 4th and we can not wait to meet her. I will miss you all but you are in wonderful hands with Ms. Berg.  I will be back in January!

I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in December of 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in English as a Second Language. After I graduated, I taught 3rd grade at an Elementary School in Arvada. During the summer of 2020, I went back to school and graduated with my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Grand Canyon University. I have taught 4th grade for the last three years and I am excited to be back in the best grade!!  I am so excited to start my seventh year teaching!!

In my free time, I enjoy being active! You can find me running on trails with my family or playing volleyball and tennis. I also enjoy spending time on the weekends reading and hanging out with family and friends. One of my favorite things to do is coach our girls on the run team! Another hobby of mine is watching sports games, especially Hockey- GO AVS!

I will send home a weekly digital newsletter- check your email Monday Mornings ( and I attach it to our website) so you can keep up with all the wonderful things we are doing in class. Please look out for this at the beginning of each week. This is our main form of communication for learning and upcoming dates.
