     Coach "P" heads into his 30th season with D'Evelyn baseball in 2024.  He also teaches physical education and coaches the Girls Varsity Softball team at D'Evelyn. Coach P was born and raised in Arvada and attended Regis Jesuit High School.  He attended the University of Southern Colorado for two years on a baseball scholarship and then transferred to and graduated from the University of Wyoming where he also played under a baseball scholarship.  He earned is Masters in Administration from the University of Phoenix in 1998.  Coach and his wife Tracy have four children, Gia, Tony, Danella and Isabella.

Assistant Coach : Jon Strotz

    Coach Strotz enters his 4th season as a coach of D'Evelyn's baseball team.  The 2015 graduate of D'Evelyn High School played on one of the most successful teams in Jags history.  High school highlights include a walk-off  home run to seal a 9-8 victory over Conifer in his senior season.  His collegiate career was at Hastings College where the infielder was named the 2019 Daktronic Scholar Athlete of the year.  Jon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management degree and minored in Religion.  Post college, Jon has managed very successful high level travel teams of USA Prime.  He is currently employed as a senior consultant for the GPAC Corporation.

 Assistant Coach Robert Dampier  (“Coach Dampo”)

    Colorado Dugout Club Hall of Fame Coach Bob "Dampo" Dampier heads into his 14th year at D'Evelyn. He resides in Denver with his wife Mary Jo.  Born in Georgia, he attended Brooks High School where he played baseball, basketball and football and earned all state and all league two years.  He was selected by the NY Mets in the supplemental draft in 1966.  He joined the Air Force in 1966 and served as Military Police, SAC Elite Guard (Blue Beret Special Forces).  He served as a Military Training Instructor of Basic Military Training.  He attended Adams State College where he played baseball.  He received his Masters Degree at UNC and earned his masters in teaching at the University of Minnesota.  He taught in Denver Public Schools and Littleton Public Schools from 1978-2006.

Assistant Coach: Manny Thompson

    Coach Manny Thompson has returned to the D'Evelyn program for his second season.  The native from Pacifica, California attended Pacific Bay Christian High where he hit .576 avg with 1.01 slugging and pitched 2.47 ERA in his junior season.  In addition to baseball, he was the starting quarterback during his senior season.  Coach Thompson is a 2021 graduate of Colorado Christian University where the outfielder sported a career .970 fielding percentage.
