Welcome!

Hello and Welcome to Foothills Elementary! My name is Mr. Romero and I am excited to be the Dean of Students. This is my 6th year at Foothills, I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, a combo 1/2 and this will be my first year as Dean of Students. I have my Masters in Elementary Education and my Endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I recently received my Principal License from University of Colorado at Denver.

I am passionate about working with students and I believe in educating the whole child. In our school, we are a family! We work together to make sure that every student is successful. Character strengths are a huge part of my teaching and leadership philosophy, we learn about different character strengths to help us become better world citizens. I look forward to working with you and your child this year... It's going to be an amazing year!!
