Tenor-bass Choir

This is an entry-level singing group for tenor and bass voice types. This course will include two and three part singing, emphasizing a cappella as well as accompanied repertoire. Students will learn the joy of singing in an ensemble through this choir. Vocal production and music fundamentals will be stressed. Students will also gain a deeper understanding of aesthetic sensitivity through the study and performance of a wide-range of level-appropriate choral literature from various cultures, styles, languages, and time periods. Comprehensive musicianship will be stressed, including sight reading, listening, creating music, music theory and relating music to other disciplines and cultures. All performances are REQUIRED.
