Dance Auditions: Tuesday, December 13 (required for all auditioning)

Callbacks: Wednesday, December 14

Below, please find the vocal audition materials for Chicago. If you are not a part of the DRHS Theatre Google Classroom, please join for more info about the acting auditions (https://classroom.google.com/c/NzA4NDAzMDIwMjla?cjc=xwym3ws).

Please Note for Vocal Auditions:

• Sopranos and Altos will sing the "All That Jazz" Excerpt.

• Tenors and Basses will sing the "Razzle Dazzle" Excerpt.

• You will be expected to sing with the provided backing track (included below). I recommend practicing with these tracks, as well as the Broadway New Cast Recording (1997) in preparation for your audition.

• I will be having an audition rehearsal for the vocal excerpts on Monday, December 5th immediately after school (3pm) in the choir room. Please know that this is not required to audition, but highly encouraged as this will be the only time that I work with students on the audition materials. I will not be working with anyone individually on the songs, so if you want help and to know what I am looking for in your audition, plan on attending this rehearsal.
