This is an advanced treble vocal ensemble and students will exhibit a high level of commitment. Students will demonstrate a refined aesthetic sensitivity through the study and performance of a wide range of advanced three- to four-part treble choral literature from various cultures,styles, languages, and time periods. Vocal production and music fundamentals will be stressed. Comprehensive musicianship including sight reading, listening, creating music, music theory and relating music to other disciplines and cultures are all integral components of Rubies. Students are encouraged to audition for All-County Honor Choir and All-State Choir. All performances are REQUIRED.
