Athletic Fee

• Athletics fees for participating athletes, in each sport, must be collected (or a written payment plan must be on file with the financial secretary) prior to athletes’ competing in any sport. The fee must be deposited into cash-income when received.

• If a family is on the free and reduced lunch program, the athlete is exempt from the athletic fee.

• For other extreme, extenuating financial situations, the request for exemption verifying the situation should be submitted through the family to the school athletic director and principal. If a payment plan is necessary, the first payment must be turned in to the Financial Office prior to the student’s participation in a contest. A written payment plan must be filed with the school’s financial secretary.

• The following guidelines are to be followed:

  •  Fees per athletics participant: $185 per sport, per athlete

  • Refund Policy - A full refund will be made to the athlete who is cut or quits before being involved in the sport through fifteen calendar days.

  • The athletic fee refund must be claimed on or before the starting date of the next season, and within the same school year.

Stadium Admission Price

• Jeffco HS Students with an Athletic Pass- Free 

• Senior Citizen (age 55 & older)-                                 $5.00

Playoff events, tournaments and/or invitationals may charge higher rates.  Playoff events will follow CHSAA guidelines for entry fees.  Only CHSAA, CHSCA and CHSAA Media passes are accepted for free admission.  No league passes, student athletic passes, employee passes, or staff passes will be accepted.

Athletic Admission Pass for Students

The High School Student Athletic Pass is $65 and will allow the high school student free admission to any regular season athletic event held at Jeffco facilities, exclusive of any tournaments and invitationals. With the regular admission price for students at $5, the pass pays for itself after the 12th event. If your student likes to attend athletic games, the Athletic Pass is a smart purchase.

Please note: If a student allows another student to use his/her pass, then the pass will be confiscated and privileges will be revoked, with no refund granted.

If you purchased an Athletic Pass online, you must bring a copy of the receipt with you in order to have the Athletic Pass printed on the student’s ID. If you pay for the Athletic Pass after pictures are taken, please go the financial office to get the Athletic Pass. Conifer HS will not be responsible for refunds for admission to games if you do not have your Athletic Pass on your student id.

Lifetime Activity Pass

• • Available at no charge to all Jefferson County residents over the age of 55 or anyone who has retired from active service with Jefferson County Public Schools and is receiving PERA benefits.

  • Pass holders may attend activities and regular season athletic events sponsored by Jefferson County Schools without any admission charge.

  • It is recommended before attending an activity, other than an athletic event, to call the school for seating availability.

  • A school may designate specific functions as paid admission events only and passes will not be honored for those functions.

  • The pass is to be used by the named pass holder only and must be shown at the admission gate to enter at no cost.

  • To obtain a pass download the Honorary Lifetime Pass HERE, fill out and bring it along with your driver's license to the financial secretary.
