Homework This Week September 6th-9th:
Week 3 Math spiral review sheet (see the picture of answer key to the left)
Spelling packet with new spelling words
Reading for 20 minutes each night
Book report due on Friday, September 16th. This must be a book your child is reading at home. Use the MMTS linked here to design the book report!
All homework is due on Friday of each week. However, if your child has a lot of sports and activities to do, homework turned in first thing Monday morning will not be counted as late!
Homework this Week:
Homework always goes home on Mondays in Monday folders, and needs to be returned by the following Monday at the latest, but preferably by Friday of the same week.
Math: Students will complete some review spiral skills from 4th grade. Please see the answer key posted below that can be used as a tool to allow your child to check their work!
Spelling: Students have 20 words to review, with five different ways of practice. The focus this week is the long o and the long i sounds.
Reading: Although there is no reading log, it is important that your child reads 20 minutes every night. The first book report is due on Friday, September 17th

Homework:
Families, please complete and return the " Get to know Me" student questionnaire. This will allow me to get to know your child better!
Charge Chromebook at home each night, and return to school each day. Students get new passwords on Wednesday
Create a school-appropriate playlist on phone, or spotify, or YouTube that students can listen to during workshop time.
