5th Grade In's and Outs
Please pack a healthy snack and water bottle for your child each day
we are always in need of snack donations!
Your child should come to school with their chromebook charged every day (after the first few weeks, we move away from charging in the classroom)
Students have weekly homework that goes home in Monday folders and is due on Fridays
Students receive weekly menus that must be completed by Friday. Mondays are study hall or free time. If menus are not completed or work is not at 5th grade level, then students will attend study hall. If all work is completed at a 5th grade standard, then students will attend free time.

1:1 TECHNOLOGY
As you may know, all of the 5th graders get their own computers! The students are exploring so much new learning with their devices.
With these new devices, comes new student responsibility. Students need to learn how to navigate technology, and use it as a tool that supplies them authentic learning opportunities for a global audience.
It is an expectation, as preparation for Middle School, that students bring their charged device to school each day. In class, we will go over digital citizenship and appropriate device usage.
