Hi there! I'm Mrs. Gruber, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to what promises to be an amazing year in 1st grade! This will be my eleventh year at Ralston Elementary, and I’m excited to be part of this fantastic school with its dedicated staff, supportive community, and wonderful students. Plus, the mountain views are a beautiful bonus!
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I've been enjoying life in Colorado for the past 14 years. I live in Lakewood with my husband, two sons, three chickens, and a cat. I absolutely love working with students and families, and I’m passionate about making learning fun and building strong relationships with each of my students. Let’s make this year great together!

Daily Expectations
Students should arrive to school everyday with a water bottle and two healthy snacks. We will go outside for recess as often as we can so please dress accordingly. I ask that students come to school with a positive attitude and willingness to engage in classroom activities. We will work on trust, responsibility, and respect everyday!

Food/Snacks
Students will have an opportunity to enjoy a healthy snack brought from home every morning and afternoon. Please make sure your child can open and eat the snack independently. Please avoid sending items with nuts for an afternoon snack as we are a nut free classroom. Water bottles are allowed and encouraged in the classroom. Please make sure your child has a water bottle with a spout to avoid spills. Water is the only liquid that is allowed in the classroom.
