In my opinion kids should be allowed to doodle in class with a few rules to the drawing. I know some teachers are gonna wanna just not let kids draw in class but I believe that letting kids express themselves at a young age will help them grow to learn that they won’t be told not to express themselves. Now I know that with every idea there are boundaries and this idea is no different.
Rules about drawing will vary from teacher to teacher but the basic rules I believe will let kids draw and express themselves but also don’t interfere with their work are set as such:
Don’t draw onto working space that could stop your working or make it difficult for your teacher to read.
Don’t let the drawing stop you from working. It’s ok to doodle if all your work is done and you're waiting for future instructions but drawing must stop when work needs to be done.
Remember that it’s your teachers decision if this can take place. Maybe set some time at home if you really want to draw.
