This month’s student spotlight is about Lakyn Moreno.

Lakyn is in 6th grade in Mr. Merical’s base camp. I chose her because she is my friend.

What is your favorite color? Blue

What is your favorite movie? Why? Soul surfer is my favorite movie. Because I like swimming and the ocean.

What is your favorite subject in school? Why? PE is my favorite subject. Because I like the games.

What is your favorite hobby?why? Basketball because basketball is fun and is my favorite sport.

What is your favorite restaurant? Why? Texas Roadhouse is my favorite restaurant. Because I like the steak and chicken and also their buns.

What is your favorite animal? Why? Horses and dogs are my favorite animals. I like horses because they are fun to ride. And dogs because I have one.

Charlotte’s kitchen

Charlottes kitchen is a restaurant in Johnston Iowa. It is to dine in or drive through. They have chicken, salads, ice cream, and awesome sides. Charlotte's kitchen started as a food truck but got so much attention they had enough money to move into the old Dairy Queen. They have been very successful. Neyla says charlotte’s kitchen is the bomb.com.

You should try Chick-fil-A!

Chick-fil-A is known for their Original Chicken Sandwich, it is just a chicken patty with a bun and it’s really good. It’s not really greasy and they have amazing shakes, they're really good and they have a lot of flavor. I personally like their chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese. And I also get their strawberry shake. They also really have good breakfast and really good fries. They give their staff heated coats and they make a station for the people to change their order in the drive thru. Chick-fil-A is healthier than other fast food restaurants, because they focus on chicken and healthier protein, more than other fast food restaurants. The original chicken sandwich has 19 grams of fat and Burger King whopper has 37 grams of fat , which shows they focus on healthy protein.

Not being able to defend myself

A cozy cottage not a mansion there too much work and too big

What is your favorite family vacation that you want to go on?

I’ve never been here but Scotland my dad has a lot of Scottish in him so I think that’d be cool

Who do you want to be when you grow up?

I don’t know maybe a dog breeder

I like out of my mind a lot but my favorite author is Mary Downing Hahn

Do you like to listen to music?

Who doesn’t yes I do

A wolf

What would you do if every human being died except for you?

I would try to come up with a machine that makes animals talk so I wouldn’t be lonely
