Recording Zoom Meetings on iPad

1. Clear iPad Storage

To record your Zoom meetings on iPad, first make sure that you have enough storage space available to store recorded videos. Delete any apps and documents you are no longer using, and make sure to back up your recorded Zoom sessions as soon as possible so that you can delete them from your iPad and make room for new recordings.

To check your iPad storage, go to Settings > General > iPad Storage. This will show you what is taking up space on your iPad.

2. Enable Screen Recording

Under Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls, tap the plus (+) button next to Screen Recording to add it to the "Include" section listed at the top.

Your iPad is now set up to record Zoom.

3. Start Your Zoom Meeting

Start your Zoom meeting as normal.

Once the meeting has started, swipe down from the top right corner of your iPad to open the Control Center. The Screen Recording button should now be available. Tap the button to start your recording. You will see a countdown timer, and then the record button will light up red. This indicates that the recording has started.

4. End the Recording

To end the recording, open Control Center again and tap on the Screen Recording button. This will end the recording and save the video to your Photos app.

Troubleshooting

You may encounter an error message like the one pictured here. If so, double-check that you have enough storage space on your iPad to save videos. You should also perform a hard reset. Usually this will clear the error the next time you want to record your iPad screen.
