I talked with 3 different artists in Syracuse to make a series of short interviews. These artists were Tim Atseff, a political cartoonist, Jillian Hagadorn, a painter, and Tommy Lincoln, a graphic designer. I asked these artists about how Syracuse impacted them and how they impacted Syracuse. They told me about their journey to becoming an artist and their lives growing up in Syracuse. Exploring the lives of these different artists taught me a lot about pursuing an art career and the hard work you need to go into it. I wanted to show people these videos because I thought that the best way to encourage people to make art would be to show the experiences of artists all around Syracuse to prove that pursuing art as a career is not only possible, but it can be very rewarding.
