Capstone - Presentations

At this point, I had a semi-clear direction of what I wanted to do. Although I had started the year out with the broad topic of poverty in Syracuse, I knew I wanted to hone in on how science could play into it.

Capstone Roundtable

I wanted to do a STEM program that focused on lab work so students would be more engaged. I was hoping to be able to find a city school and to target immigrants in the SCSD.

Cap

I was still hopeful about hosting an in-person STEM program, just at a different location. I had my heart set on teaching biochemistry to children at the Central Library, where I had a room. Ultimately, this didn't work out and I swapped to a video series.
