San Francisco
college access center

Hi Thurgood Marshall students and families! My name is Natalie Rosales and I am the educational advisor for SFCAC at Marshall for the 2019-2020 school year. I am a first-generation college student coming from a low-income background, so I am ecstatic to give other youth that were in the same situation as I was guidance as they try to navigate through high school to college and university. This is my first year in the role and I am excited to build a sense of community at Marshall.

I am a currently in my last semester of my undergraduate degree at San Francisco State University where I am majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Education. This coming fall, I will begin my Master's degree in Philosophy at SFSU. If you are interested in pursuing a degree in the humanities, please don't hesitate to reach out!

I am of Salvadoran and Guatemalan descent and love black coffee and the color yellow.

Upward bound

Annie is a former JCYC Upward Bound program participant. I graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Communication. I became interested in working with youth later during my career. Prior to my position as an Educational Advisor, I worked as a Program Leader and Camp Counselor at CYC Beacon Aptos Middle School. I am excited to continue my involvement with JCYC and to be part of the TMAHS community.
