Sophomore and Junior year in incredibly important for college admissions. Colleges look at your grades from the courses you took your Sophomore and Junior year. Remember - NO D's or F's! If you have a D or F on your transcript, you will have to make up the course.

Junior Year Path To Success

Meet with Your Educational Advisor and a Counselor

  • Create Educational Plan

  • Involve yourself in an extracurricular activity

  • Enroll in any make up credits

Beware: Testing ahead

  • Prepare for the May or June SAT and/or ACT and enroll in a Prep Course

  • Get a fee waiver from your educational advisor and sign up for the May or June SAT and/or ACT

GET a head start

  • Make a list of 10 college you would like to attend, along with their admission requirements

  • Draft a Personal Statement
