Staying Connected...
We are excited to announce that EJMS FFA will be hosting a Livestock Showing Interest Meeting on March 10th at 5:30 p.m. @ the East Jackson Agriculture Classroom (see picture above). Any grade welcome. This meeting is essential for any student considering participating in livestock showing for the upcoming season. We encourage you to mark your calendars and join us for this informative session!
During the meeting, we will cover key topics, including: Selecting and purchasing animals, proper showing techniques, grooming and care practices, and important clinic dates throughout the year
Whether you're an experienced exhibitor or just curious about getting involved, this meeting will provide valuable insights and answers to any questions you may have. Even if you're unsure about participating, we encourage you to attend to learn more and explore the opportunities available.
To help us prepare and ensure we address all your needs, please take a moment to fill out the interest form if you plan to attend or are interested in showing livestock. If you have already signed up, there’s no need to do so again.
Mark this date on your calendars for individual and class pictures.
What is Nest Protectors?? EJES "dudes" are you interested in being more present EJES and providing a positive male influence on our students? We would love to have you sign up to be a Nest Protector! EJES "dudes" transform into our EJES Nest Protectors by getting to school early and helping to open car doors and greeting students as they arrive. You will arrive at 7:10 and you MUST check-in at the front office to get your visitor's badge before you head out to duty. If you have never had your ID scanned at the front office, please have that ready the first time you arrive for Nest Protector duty. After your duty, feel free to stop by your child's classroom to give them a hug. Check in at the front office, no need to sign up on the google form!

It's not too late to have your family or business purchase a metal sign to support EJES through our Eagle Aide parent group! When you purchase a sign, it will be hung for 2 years. What a great way to promote your business and give back to the students at EJES at the same time! Feel free to contact Jeff Rogers when the time is right for you to purchase.
