Jarrell ISD is committed to ensuring every student has access to high-quality instruction, meaningful support, and opportunities for continued academic growth. As part of this commitment, Igo Elementary is implementing a 2026–2028 Turnaround Plan focused on strengthening teaching and learning and building sustainable systems for continuous improvement.
The plan prioritizes high-quality instructional materials, collaborative teacher planning, differentiated coaching and feedback, targeted intervention and enrichment, support for special populations, and ongoing monitoring of student progress. Campus and district leaders will regularly review both implementation and student outcomes to identify areas of progress and make timely adjustments when needed.
Throughout the turnaround process, Igo Elementary will focus on strengthening:
High-quality Tier 1 instruction using Bluebonnet Learning
Weekly Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
Teacher coaching, observation, and feedback
Targeted intervention and enrichment
Support for students receiving special education and bilingual/emergent bilingual services
Regular monitoring of student growth and achievement
Leadership capacity and sustainable campus systems
The plan includes measurable student outcome goals and implementation checkpoints through August 2028, allowing the campus and district to monitor progress and adjust supports throughout the improvement process.
The voices of our families, staff, and community members are an important part of the school improvement process. Stakeholders are invited to review the Igo Elementary Public-Facing Turnaround Plan and provide feedback. Input collected through campus stakeholder meetings and the public feedback form will be considered as the district moves forward with implementation.
