Leader in Me
Students will meet with their Homeroom teacher every other day for one trimester during the school year. During this time students will be going through 35 modules pertaining to the 8 Habits. While working through the modules, students will be connecting the 8 Habits to how they can support learning, personal development, and a positive classroom culture.

This year we will be implementing Leader Tickets so be on the look out for those to come home and in your email inbox!!
How they work:
When a student is observed doing one of the 8 Habits, that student will be given a Leader Ticket.
After a student receives a Leader Ticket, the student's name will be written on the Leader Poster in the classroom he/she received the ticket in. The bottom of the ticket will be cut off and placed in the student's grade level bucket. An email will also be sent home notifying parents. Students can receive multiple Leader Tickets from multiple teachers in the quarter.
At the end of Quarter 1, we will draw one student out of each grade level bucket and that student will get to pick a "prize" for their class.

Clubs align with Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw. We want to provide ways for students to renew their body/mind/heart/spirit.
Body, by engaging students in exercise and sports.
Mind, by devoting time to skills and hobbies that don’t necessarily show up on any pacing guide.
Heart, by focusing students’ energies on making Emotional Bank Account (EBA) deposits.
Spirit, by creating regular opportunities for service learning and mindfulness.
Clubs will plan to tentatively meet the following Wednesdays during Middle School Advisory Time (11:50 am-12:25 pm):
