Welcome to Kindergarten!

My name is Ms. Katy Kruger and I am so excited to be your Kindergarten teacher!

I am a Colorado girl, born and raised and a proud CSU graduate. I gained my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education-GO RAMS!!

This is my first official year teaching at Jefferson Academy; I was a student here from 2005-2011 and happy to be back.

I am looking forward to being a part of the growth and accomplishments in each of your students and beyond excited to help in making lasting memories and moments that are the foundation and magic of Kindergarten.

Hello! My name is Rachael Plucinski.

I have been blessed to be a member of the JA staff since the 2021 school year. I worked as an EA for one year in 2nd grade, and for the last 2 (this is my third) years I have enjoyed working with some of our youngest learners as a part of the Kindergarten team.

I am a mom to 2 kiddos (5th and 4th grade), as well as a wife to my best friend. I am so excited to work with Ms. Kruger this year as we help your little ones grow, learn new skills (both academically and socially) and foster their love for learning as they start thier journey through school!

I can't wait to watch all the amazing things your student will learn, accomplish and navigate this year!
