***Dr. McDermott will be reviewing CCP doctoral student applications to the CID lab for the 2020-2021 school year***
Dr. McDermott usually accepts one new doctoral student a year as part of the APA-accredited Clinical/Counseling Psychology program at the University of South Alabama (though at times he has accepted two or conversely none). Students within the undergraduate and masters programs at USA are also encouraged to join the lab as a means of gaining competitive experience prior to applying for doctoral work.
