Dr. Lota Ojiako has a compelling story about perseverance on her career journey from her birthplace in Nigeria to her formal education in the Chicagoland area. As a physician at Advocate Aurora Health, she understands that treating a patient involves the whole person. Her moral code to “leave things better” is what she practices every day.
