Tax Dollars of Glass

Don’t we have enough new city approved structures blocking the view of the Potomac? You can see colored glass by looking into an empty Coke bottle!

Tax Dollars of Glass

Pictured (left) is how the city has decided to spend tax dollars at the waterfront instead of the story of George Washington, Col. Fitzgerald, Revolutionary war, etc. as promised in the long-standing and official Waterfront Plan.

The City continues to ignore these Founding Fathers who created this Country. This park is the place where Fitzgerald filled in the land to create his wharf and also rounded up citizens to thwart a British attack intended to burn down the city. Instead of this remembering this history, the City will erect colored glass.

Colored Glass?

Alexandria was recently selected as a top destination city due to its rich history. Will the new art glass structure pictured above, selected as part of a new City plan, attract people from around the world to travel to Alexandria experience its rich history?
